Good Unckle Weekes you shall receaue by this Carrier
a boxe from mr Ashton in which are two beauer hattes with
two bands he hath also sent you a lettre wherein he
hath written the prizes of them of which I could not
get him to abate anie thinge and for the Beauer
skinnes he hath not yet sold them neither will he
vntill such time as he heares from you againe
you shall also receaue from mr Lownes the two
bybles and the other bookes which you wrote to him for
they are packt vp in the Cloth which you sent vpp
with the beauer skinnes I spake yesterday with ffrauncis
Newton who would willingly heare from you about
thinges which he sent you before g he goe into the
Countrye which as he told me he thought would bee
aboute ten dayes hence Iohn W[?]ithy for his drunken
nes and ill carriage is newly gone from my Lady
Bond and it is thought that by reason of his large
expences he is much indebted he is growne heare of
late to be one of the beastlyest drunkeards in
the Cittie my Lady hath beene sick of an ague
this three or fower dayes she would willingly haue
me te serue her againe as I doe vnder stand by
her men she hath euer sithince my coming from
thence used me very kindly but espetially sithince
I fell sick last she hath often times bid me to com
and fetch my meate and drinke at her house and on
thursday she was desirous to haue me to ligh at her
howse and that was as I did imagine to thend that I
should offer my selfe to searue her againe On tewsday
last there was acted at the Globe a new play called
all is triewe which had beene acted not passinge 2 or 3
times before there came many people to see it in
so much that the howse was very full and as the play
was almost ended the house was fired with shooting
off a Chamber, which was stopt with towe which was blown
vp into the thetch of the house and so burnt downe to
the ground but the people escaped all without hurte
except one man who was scalded with the fier
by aduentureing in to saue a Child which otherwise
had beene burnte
Thus with the remembrance of my humble
dutie to you and to my good Aunte
at this time I humblie take my leaue
euer resting
